Slice of Life - Day 38
Well this will be my last post from Tacoma... we are home from the show... and I am feeling my age tonight. We have been up until 3 and 4 am the last two nights and its looking like it will about that time again tonight. However no complaints here as I have had the most kick ass time!! Tonight's show was so freakin good I almost have no words. Becca and Mike made it down but unfortunately my husband is still sick at home and missed all the fun. We headed out to the venue and picked up my tickets which were stellar but then I decided to go down to the floor with my original floor ticket with Becca and Mike and thought that if I wanted I would use the awesome seated tickets later but I never did. Becca and I hung out in some seats at the back of the floor area for Saving Abel and Papa Roach and wandered up closer during AX7's set. Then I decided to brave the front for Buckcherry. Becca and Mike elected to hang back so I headed up front alone and met some people and hung with them and got right up to 2nd row, Keef's side. I couldn't have been happier... I got a pretty good video of one of the songs... Keith saw me down there and came over and was like "what the fuck are you doing down there" because he thought I was going to be in the seats they gave me, then he threw me a pick. After the show we waited around for Keef to shower and then went and had a quick visit before getting a hug goodbye. Ronda told him how I almost crashed the car the night before and he told me to be more careful cause he needs me around :) Love that guy!!

Slice of Life - Day 37
Well I am tuning in from Tacoma again tonite and yes I know it says it is past the deadline but we just got back from Portland... these photos are pretty disappointing because they are super blurry but the experience behind them was so cool that I had to post them. I got to go up on stage before the show for a little one on one tour with Keef... and as we looked at his guitars he asked if I would like to hold one of his favorites, the first Zemaitas guitar that was made for him! Then I took a photo of him with it... pretty freakin cool. It was incredible standing up on that stage in a huge coliseum like that... I asked him if he ever gets stage fright and he said no, then I asked him how it felt up there with all the lights on him and fans screaming and his reply was "well it doesn't suck" :)

Slice of Life - Day 36
Well today's post comes at ya from Tacoma Washington! This is the first day of my Buckcherry adventure. There was a slight hiccup because Brendan was too sick to come but hopefully he can make it out for the show on Saturday night. Anyways I worked today so it was quite late by the time I was able to pack and head out... this photo was taken on a quick detour through Seattle... please disregard the blur...

Slice of Life - Day 35
Okay crazy day... first busy busy busy at work, then I decided that tonite, the night before I go away for my Buckcherry weekend is the night that I should go buy my new camera (B bought me a camera for Christmas but I didn't like the quality of it and the fact that it didn't have a feature I use a lot so I returned it and got a gift card but hadn't got the one I wanted yet because they didn't have it when we returned the other one). Brendan's Future Shop didn't have the one I wanted so right after work I went home to pick up Kalli, then drove out to the Richmond (Bridgeport) Future Shop to purchase my new camera, then I drove back to Surrey to take it to B's Future Shop so I could return it and re-purchase it on staff. I got back to his store and started thinking back to when I did all my research on which camera I wanted... started having a bad feeling... went and checked out some info on the net and realized that sure enough I bought the wrong camera! Instead of the 880 I got the 890...sigh. The reviews of the 890 aren't nearly as good as the 880 though (in fact the reviews of the 880 are excellent! - I'm excited) so I decide to change it to the other one... only to find that B's store doesn't have that one either. Guess who has it...? The other Richmond store (Lansdowne). So now it is 8pm... I'm tired.... but have to drive back out to Richmond.... sigh.
Oh well, that's what I did, went out to the car with B so he could have a quick visit with Kalli then headed back to Richmond, got slightly lost, had to call my boss for help :) got the camera and then went and got us some salad for dinner and got home around 9:40pm... and now here I am... should be cleaning and packing but Ive been surfing instead. But now its time for sleep... only this one last sleep before our Buckcherry adventure starts... and only 2 more sleeps until I see my favorite band again! Wooooo!!
This is the little camera that caused all the trouble... hope it's as excellent as they say!!

Slice of Life - Day 34
Today has been an odd day, woke up with tons of energy after getting a full nights sleep on the couch... but then that energy slowly withered away. I had ongoing allergy issues that got worse as the day went on so that didn't help. When I get allergy attacks it is hard to breathe which lowers my energy by a ton...
We did manage to meet up with the Brea and the Kyah at the dog park, had a nice walk and a good play and Brea and I fell in love with a little miniature pincher named Elliot... so cute. After that B and I headed down to Look Watts Cooking for lunch, yummy as usual. Then we went home for my Buckcherry Production Call... after that I went out and B stayed home to play War Craft. I went and bought Kalli a new collar... a super cute pink one with Pirate Puppy on it which is a training collar and also another pink Camo one but in the biggest size. She is growing up so fast! I then took my new jacket to the tailor to get altered, ran into a little hiccup when they couldn't do what I wanted with it but I think she has it worked out in the end and I'm sure it will look great. Then I came home and took a 2 hour nap! Whats up with all this sleep all of a sudden? B woke me up so we could go get dinner and a movie... went to Quiznos, picked up RockNRolla cause B has wanted to see it, then quickly went home to feed the gang and then off to my sisters to pick up some dog food from her freezer. My photo of the day was taken there (by my sis cause I didn't have my camera) and is of Jake and Kalli. Jake came out of his room to see her because he hadn't seen her in a while and seemed to really enjoy playing with her. So I have my favorite kids as my photo two days in a row!!
I can say that if B and I ever have kids we will be super blessed to have kids even half as great as these ones! Love them both so much.
Slice of Life - Day 33
Oops I did it again! It was 24 night last night, and the minute Davo left after CSI Miami finished I passed out on the couch and didn't wake up until 6am this morning. Sooo no post for yesterday... but I do have a photo! I picked Samantha up after school yesterday and she came back to work with me because he mom had to pick up her grandma from the airport. We had 7500 pounds of food that came yesterday morning that had to be put out so she spent the afternoon pricing it and putting it away with me. It was great to spend some time with her!

Slice of Life - Day 32
So tonight B called me from Wings where he was hanging out with some buddies and asked me to pick him up because he had indulged in just a few too many beers. Apparently those beer wanted out very badly on the way home... :)
